Individually, they found it totally frustrating, but as a group, they came to the most coherent sense of the film I could possibly imagine. (Much more coherent than my sense of it on a first viewing.) Unfortunately, I've since forgotten their explanation. I'll just have to teach it again, I s'ppose.Sycorax Pinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07734754573631273474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060047013304842896.post-7400680382780803302011-07-11T12:04:14.047-05:002011-07-11T12:04:14.047-05:00I like juxtaposition, though I find it's a bit...I like juxtaposition, though I find it's a bit of a mouthful to use in simple sentences! Juxtaposition is also one of my favourite words and I like to use it in reference to accountancy standards (in my work). In fact I find that accountancy juxtaposes beautifully with absurd words.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060047013304842896.post-68125752605415397512011-07-07T15:36:48.116-05:002011-07-07T15:36:48.116-05:00Hmmm, I think it's easier to work juxtapositio...Hmmm, I think it's easier to work juxtaposition into conversations than synecdoche, but it is more fun to say synecdoche.
